How did Hetki Sauna end up with Rantasalmi?
Hetki Sauna's journey began in the summer of 2020. The first challenge was finding a partner who would understand and adapt to Hetki Sauna's unique sauna concept. It soon became clear that the best partner for the concept wouldn't be one of the large players, but a smaller, more agile partner. Through a series of events, the founder of Hetki Sauna Janne Oksanen ended up discussing the project with Rantasalmi, and an immediate connection was made. Hetki Sauna concept
The idea for Hetki Sauna originated from Janne’s passion to spread Finnish wellness culture around the world, one sauna at a time. Hetki Saunas made their debut in the spring of 2021, and the concept’s early journey has shown great promise. The goal was to create saunas that respect tradition while maintaining the highest standards of materials and craftsmanship. Customers can choose their preferred features, colors, and materials for their sauna. A key aspect of the concept is ensuring a hassle-free experience for the customer. The sauna is made to order and delivered fully assembled to the customer's doorstep, requiring only an electrical connection to be ready for use.
Hetki Saunas are being delivered at an increasing pace to satisfied customers in 12 countries. Wellness, sustainability, quality, and design are at the heart of what resonates with customers. While the log sauna is a staple of Finnish culture, with many saunas delivered fully assembled here, Hetki Sauna’s product concept stands out as unique in international markets. Rantasalmi is responsible for the production of the log frames, and we also ship the finished product directly to the end customer," says CEO of Rantasalmi Log Houses Mikko Mannila.
"I wanted to make the sauna purchase as easy as possible for the customer. The sauna is compact in size, so it fits even on smaller plots. And since the customer receives the sauna fully assembled, they don’t have to worry about the construction process or the possibility of mistakes," Janne explains the process.
